The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index was up 4.33 points, or 0.28%, to close at 1,575.85 points today. Total trading value was 36.28 billion baht, with 7.33 billion shares changing hands. The SET50 index ended at 1,000.22 points, up 3.97 points or 0.40%, in trade worth 18.87 billion baht. The MAI index went up 2.15 points, or 0.38%, to close at 565.90 points with total transaction value of 1.66 billion baht. Local institution, brokers and foreign investors were net sellers of 250 million baht, 57 million baht and 121 million baht respectively.
